About L2R
What is the L2R Challenge? A solo, unsupported charity fundraising bike ride. Minimum of 350 miles from Lytham St Anne's, Lancashire to Risca, South Wales. To involve non-cycling friends and local community groups, it also includes two parkruns and roller skiing around an outdoor track.
Why am I doing it? Diabetes affects millions of people across the UK. By taking on this tough, solo challenge, I’m raising funds to support Diabetes UK’s vital research, education and support services. My nephew, Charlie, lives with type 1 diabetes, the challenge is all about cycling from my house in England to his house in Wales and raising awareness of Diabetes UK along the way.
